For weeks, new Pilot poster members using Yahoo Mail and some other email services do not receive activation links to their email boxes.
This was a real pain in the neck for Team PP as we have to activate every new member’s account who uses Yahoo Mail and the other affected email services.
This has also led to hundreds of accounts being inactive as many of the members did not have the chance to read our knowledgebase article concerning this issue because we discovered only after several days from the day of occurrence.
Also, many others could not go through the stress of sending us an email requesting for an account activation.
The good news at the end is that this issue has being fixed after we contacted the Yahoo Mail Team through our server engineers.
We must give kudos to the Team Pilot Poster server guys and the Yahoo Mail Team.
