How do you make a good poll in a Facebook group?
A good Facebook group poll asks one clear question with two to four short options, tells members why you are asking, and invites a comment with the reason behind their vote. Share the results afterwards. Polls work best for planning, feedback and fun choices that matter to the group, not yes-or-no questions with an obvious answer.
When to use a poll
Use a poll when you want a quick read on the whole group: planning a date, choosing a product, gathering feedback or breaking the ice on a quiet day. A comment poll, with options listed as A, B and C, works in any group and can go out on a schedule. Facebook's built-in poll is handy for a quick vote you post by hand, where the group allows it.

Can members create polls in a Facebook group?
Usually, yes. Admins can choose whether members are allowed to create polls, so the option may be missing in some groups. Where it is available, start a post and pick Poll. Where it is not, a comment poll with lettered options does the same job and works in every group you belong to.
What are good poll questions for a Facebook group?
The best poll questions help the group or the person asking: choosing a meetup date, picking the next product or flavor, asking what content members want, or a light this-or-that for fun. Keep the options short and balanced, so every choice feels like a reasonable one to pick.
How do I share Facebook poll results?
Post a short follow-up: how many people voted, which option won, two or three standout comments, and what you will do next. Thank the people who took part. Sharing results shows members their vote mattered, which makes them more likely to answer your next poll as well.
